On October 5th, 2003, Blessed Arnold
Janssen, the Founder of Divine Word Missionaries, was canonized by Pope
John Paul II at the Vatican
In prayer his heart is
filled with love of God and people. He unites himself with God, and
presents all the needs of the world to Him. God lets warmth and light
radiate from his heart towards all people. His attitude expresses
confidence that God will grant him what he needs. Arnold learns ever
more to pray in confidence and surrender to the God who gives him an
immense task of bringing the Good News to the ends of the world.
