| After
having taught in the area Jesus decided to return to Jerusalem to do his
Father's will - which was the redemption of humanity through his
suffering, death and resurrection. He was welcomed by the crowds, but not
by the religious leaders who started plotting against him. |
|
| After
his return Jesus gathered his disciples and celebrated the Eucharist with
them. He instituted this sacrament as well as the sacrament of
priesthood. He asked his disciples to celebrate this special meal as
often as they could in his memory. |
