Prepare
the way for the Lord ! |
| Advent is a
season of joyful expectation and preparation. We await the coming of
Christ, remembering his birth in Bethlehem, acknowledging his coming
among us in our everyday lives and anticipating his coming at the end of
time. |
| In the
midst of holiday festivities, we need to take a step back and ask
ourselves the question which John the Baptist asked: How prepared are
we to receive the Lord into our hearts? |

| Dear Friend of the Missions, |
|
With
great joy I invite you to celebrate the birthday of our Savior Jesus Christ with the
Divine Word Missionaries. |
|
|
|
|
Jesus is the great light which descended upon the earth two
thousand years ago and continues to shine ever brighter throughout the world. |
| For us Christians the Christmas season is a special time when we share the
Light of Salvation with one another and especially with our families. I urge you to
remember your loved ones and offer prayers for your mothers and fathers, brothers and
sisters, children and friends wherever they may be. |
| We will be very privileged to have you
include your intentions in our Christmas Masses, devotions and
prayers. Also, you may light a Prayer
Candle on our website. |
